ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
BUSINESS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: Three years full time work experience after graduation completed by May 06, 2013. Cases of 2-3 months short may be allowed on a discretionary basis looking at the quality of the candidates experience and achievements.
HUMAN RESOURCES LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: Graduation.
MARKETING LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: Graduation.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - PHASE 1
RECENT PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPH Please ensure that you upload a good quality recent PASSPORT SIZE photograph (.JPG or .PNG format, file size not larger than 500 KB)
EDUCATION These would include information on Duration, Institution, Degree & Result. Please submit all education details Class 10 onwards. (For students awaiting final year results, please submit your average score of the preceding graduation years). You will not need to submit certificates at this stage.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP/ DISTINCTION AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACHIEVEMENTS Please give details of any awards won or any Extra-Curricular activities that you have been involved in.
WORK EXPERIENCE Please give details of all roles & companies that you have worked in on a full time basis after graduation. The total work experience is to be entered effective 1 May, 2013.
VIDEO RESUME You will need to record a video presentation of yourself of not more than 2 minutes. You may use this as an opportunity to highlight your skills and achievements and how you will contribute to the SOIL community. You may view a Sample Video Resume below. Do not try to stick to a particular template, this is an opportunity for you to be creative.
The recording can be done using a handy-cam, digital camera, webcam or even a mobile phone. The video needs to be uploaded on Youtube. It is recommended to upload it as an unlisted video (non searchable), or you can keep it public if you prefer. DO NOT upload it as a Private Video as we will be unable to access it. TEST SCORE GMAT/CAT/XAT (Reporting a Test Score is optional) You should submit your GMAT score if available. GMAT scores taken after May 2008 will be acceptable. If you have not taken the GMAT you may submit a CAT or XAT score.
In case you are taking the CAT or XAT later this year and wish to use that score, you may submit your CAT Registration No. or XAT ID.
DEMAND DRAFT DETAILS (For Offline Payment only): Please ensure you have a Demand Draft of Rs 2000/- ready before you submit the application. You will need to enter the bank name, DD date and DD number in the application form.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - PHASE 2
These details have to be submitted by Candidates who are shortlisted for the final interview. However, it is recommended that you begin work on your essays as well as reaching out to recommenders at the start of the Application Process. You will then be able to ensure that you submit these documents in time.
ANSWERS TO THE 5 QUESTIONS below relating to your personal and professional goals (Each answer should be between 200 & 300 words)
- Recall a time when you have been at your best and did your best work. What does this teach you about your own strengths and gifts?
- If you had all the time and resources in the world, and were to build an organization of your own, what would you like to create?
- If you were to relive the last ten years of your life what would you do differently and why?
- If there is one thing you would like to change about yourself what would that be? What have you done in the last 12 months to make this change happen?
- What do you hope to accomplish over the next 12 months in our program? What difference do you plan to make to your class and to your school during this period?
To submit the essays, the shortlisted candidates would need to log on to their Application Form where a new link would appear to upload the answers to the essays.
RECOMMENDATIONS BY 2 PEOPLE The Recommendation Form is available for download on the right. Please download this and send it to the people identified by you for filling in your recommendation. They will need to complete the form and directly email it themselves to recommendations@soilindia.net
For applicants with prior work experience, at least one of the recommendations must be from current or previous employers.
For applicants without any work experience, at least one of the recommendations must be from professors who have seen their work closely.
